A message from Mark

Like everyone, we have seen our fair share of volatility in 2025. At the half year we have built some great momentum. We have onboarded several new clients, including large public companies, and already secured repeat business from them! We signed a new partnership with Market Logic (a leader in using consumer insights and knowledge management). We are working with them and Ipsos on a new innovation program – find out more below! Our largest recent project has all been about 2026 customer planning, helping a number of business unit teams find a practical path to growth. Wishing everyone a great summer as we all look ahead to 2026.

Innovation: A powerful, yet
underutilized, growth lever

We hoped the post-pandemic period would bring stability—but disruption has been persistent. With ongoing global market pressures, many teams were forced into a reactive mode. Much time is spent on tariff modeling, resourcing cuts, and offsetting shrinking margins.

While it might seem counterintuitive, now is exactly the time to invest in innovation–to unearth new value and build future resilience. But building innovation pipelines that are higher potential, bolder, and more strategic takes work:

Consumer insight is your raw material: You may not have new data, but even existing data can be fertile ground to generate new insights that can give you a competitive edge.

 

More ideas deliver better odds: It takes more ideas than you’d think to find a winner. Thin pipelines leave no room to discard weak ideas—and fewer chances that one will result in large incremental growth.

The fuzzy front end needs structure: Even in the early stage, ideas potential is defined by strategy and brand fit, consumer relevance and differentiation, and market opportunity. Strong ideas need clear assumptions, validation, and realistic sizing to de-risk and evolve.

AI isn’t the lead, it’s the support: AI can enhance every stage of innovation—from insights to ideation to execution. But it’s not a shortcut. Let it elevate your team’s creativity, not replace it.
